A sampling system is a unit designed for particular conditions of each process, it consists of a set of elements that allow carrying a sample from a stream to a given to special conditions of pressure and temperature point. The samples can be designed taking manual or automatic always depending on the operating philosophy and the conditions to which it is required to do the analysis of the extracted sample spot or move it to the lab.
Sampling skid is designed for specific process. Fluid conditioner sometimes is required; dropping temperature with heat exchange and dropping pressure with valve regulator. After fluid is conditioned to work with monitoring devices, drains has to be performed even though the fluid will be recycled or discharged. Sensor for temperature & pressure, safety valves are frequently instrumentation used for monitoring & protection.
